Terms of Use

The Young Foundry is a learning community for children aged 6–16. Every child account is created by a parent or guardian, who confirms the child's details and remains responsible for it.

By creating or approving a child's account, the parent or guardian confirms they consent to the child using the platform and agree to remain responsible and accountable for the child's safety and activity, and to supervise their use as appropriate.

We expect everyone to be kind and respectful. Content is safety-scanned, and posts that break our community rules may be removed. Parents are notified of safety flags.

For safety, usernames must be creative pseudonyms — not the child's real name. Usernames are permanent once chosen.

Some learning tools (such as the Math Arena and Math Quest) offer practice questions in the style of well-known exams and boards. The Young Foundry is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the College Board (SAT®), GMAC (GMAT®), the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB®), Cambridge University Press & Assessment (Cambridge®), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE/ISC), or the JEE/NTA and NEET authorities. All such names and marks are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the format and style of practice content. Practising on TYF does not constitute registration for, or any guarantee of results in, any official examination.

More generally, third-party product and organization names mentioned anywhere on the platform (including study resources, coaching providers, apps, and channels) are trademarks of their respective owners. The Young Foundry is not affiliated with or endorsed by IB, Cambridge, CBSE/NCERT, or any resource providers mentioned.
